1. The Hinatuan Enchanted River is a deep spring river on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It flows into the Philippine Sea and the Pacific Ocean at Barangay Talisay, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. It is found between the boundaries of Barangays of Talisay and Cambatong. It earned the moniker "enchanted river" from the diplomat Modesto Farolan who described the river in his poem entitled "Rio Encantado". Hinatuan Bay, which is the habitat of various species of turtles, is located at its mouth.

2. Laswitan comes from the Visaya word, laswit, meaning the sea water pounding on the rocks. Laswitan is unique because of the strong waves crashing on a 20-foot rocky sea wall and spilling over the other side to fill up a rock pool. Guests can dip on the 2 rock pools as they are showered by sea water splashing from the other side. Best time to see Laswitan is from October to mid-March. There is one sizeable sheltered hut for day use with a nominal rental fee. Kamalig - this is the only lodging in Cortes, P600/head. Best to make arrangements with Cortes LGU before coming over

3. Tinuy-an Falls is a multi-tiered waterfall in Bislig, Surigao del Sur in the southern island of Mindanao, Philippines. Bislig is a city known as the Booming City by the Bay. The falls itself has been featured in various International Travel Magazines and TV shows. The Tinuy-an falls are 95 m wide and 55 meters (180 ft) high, touted as the little Niagara Falls of the Philippines. Tinuy-an is a white-water curtain that flows in three levels and is said to be the widest waterfall in the Philippines. Every morning, the area shows a rainbow between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. One may also ride a raft to get close to its cascades and get a water massage.

4. Britania Group of Islands is in Brgy. Britania in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. It is comprised of 24 islands and islets in the crystal-clear waters of Lianga bay at the eastern part of Mindanao. Most of these islands are uninhabited and only a few of them have a beach with spherical in shape and some of them are partially surrounded with pristine white sands so pure and refined. It’s Surigao del Sur’s best-kept secret.
There are many agencies at Britania port, which are renting their boats. The prices range between ₱1500-2000 for hiring a boat, and one boat can fit around 15 people. It's better if you find people to share it with, but however, if you are traveling solo, then you can negotiate the price for the small boat (between 300-600 pesos). Joan's beach resort is a small family run resort, which can offer much better deals comparing to the "big" agencies in the beginning of the port. The popular among 24 islands are known as Boslon island, Bonbon Island, and Naked Island.

5. Hagonoy Island is tiny with 140 meters long and privately owned by a resort, it is located near the city of Bislig, on Bislig Bay (province of Surigao del Sur, Mindanao, The southern-eastern island of the Philippines). Now is the time to explore the amazing white sandy beach, sparkling turquoise waters and coconut trees swaying slowly in the cool ocean breeze, the constant sound of the ocean waves, creates a perfectly idyllic setting. Do not worry about the entrance it offers only 1 U.S Dollar per person (50 Philippine pesos) and a boat to get you there is about 4 U.S Dollar per person.
A perfect spot for scuba divers and snorkelers. Swimming here is definitely worth it because it will be the best swim you can have in your life. Tourists are encouraged to bring their own tents because there are no huts or cottages available. Campers will also love this place because it’s a perfect place where they can enjoy an unhampered view of the setting sun as it falls to the horizon.

6. Cagwait White Beach is a U-shaped and/or a C-shaped white sand beach woven by the harmonious composition of nature of tropical settings stretching the aquamarine water, it faces the coast of the Pacific Ocean in the east and Mount Diwata on the west. The white sand shores embraced a portion of the great Pacific Ocean and invited us to its pristine, cool, and clear turquoise waters. If you love walking on the beach with its golden sand, you will enjoy this place. With its lush backdrop of coconut and vegetation, and its expanse of aquamarine waters – was also referred to as the “Waikiki of the South”.

7. Bislig Bay walk is a coastal indentation between two capes or headlands, larger than a cove but smaller than a gulf. A good place to unwind with a scenic view of Pacific Ocean is the main attraction the bay has a small area but provides good photo opportunities, shoot some memories of your trip. You can also taste the street foods along the Bislig Baywalk. A customize “I love Bislig” sign with the view of the sea and it has a souvenir shop good enough to bring home some token.

8. The International Doll House & Ocean View Park Restaurant is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Werner William This place housed hundreds of dolls and were collected from the different side of the globe. Dolls range from Babushka to Barbie to a very rare and expensive doll. The restaurant and doll house is located on a hill top. The wife is an avid collector of dolls thus they came up with the International Doll House just adjacent to the restaurant. Entrance fee to the doll house is ₱20.00 for adults and ₱15.00 for children. The dolls in the doll house are authentic. There were a lot of Barbie’s representing the different countries of the world. These Barbie’s also have their own passports. Mrs. Ruelaine’s passion started with her Barbie’s in the 1980’s until her collection grew bigger as she and her husband travel around the world. Mrs. William is said to collect dolls in every country she’s visited or been to.

9. Bao-Bao Falls is an untouched shallow waterfall and the good place to chill out from the busy streets of the near town, it is found in Diatogon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur. Some rocks are a bit slippery so we recommend wearing slippers or mojo sandals. Though it provides only a small area for visitors but satisfies you with a crystal clear, cold and refreshing water. Bao-Bao Falls may not be as tall and known to others compare to waterfalls found in the area, but it sure will leave a unique mark on your experiences. Though this one has its own charm with cold and clear water. ₱10 for adult and ₱5 for children.

10. Libuacan Cold Spring is located at Tagbina, Surigao del Sur which considered as their sanctuary, It will give you the first impression that it is too shallow but it is much deeper closer to the source. There were concrete stairs leading to the stream and a wooden bridge connecting its sides. The spring was deep and cold, and very fresh. Its source was an underground spring which is about 95ft is still explored even some locals get their drinking water from it. Today they have made picnic tables and chairs, as well, and a dressing room for their guests. The local management is welcoming guests and donations to retain the beauty of spring. The spring is the perfect place to relax with your friends and family where you can take the time to enjoy the scenery and fresh air.
